Job

• Analyze and translate customer requirements into a system specification and high-level design.
• Develops system architectures for product development.
• Test & evaluate (part of) developed project design and implement preventive or corrective countermeasures when needed to ensure the delivery of a high-quality and cost-efficient design.
• Maintain (part of) developed designs and initiate and execute improvements to ensure solutions and/or products will continuously match changing environmental conditions and/or customer requirements.
• Acquire and implement knowledge on new technology relevant for our client.
• Focus on product lines and roadmaps next to product items.
• Tutor, coach and functionally assess engineers within the project team.
• Participation in international standardization committees to guarantee conformance of future products.

Requirements

As a Senior System Architect you have an analytical mind and a customer oriented view. You have a proven track record of the design of relevant product architectures. It is important to have a passion for technology, technical creativity and the ability to design from a user perspective. ASenior System Architect is able to work independently and influence the organization.

You also have:

• Academic technical education, PhD or Master degree preferably in Electronics or Computer Technology
• Working experience in product development
• Pro-active behavior
• A natural curiosity to understand underlying principles and persistence to get the overview
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in the English language
• The ability to work in a dynamic and international environment
• The ability to influence the organization in a technical direction, based on knowledge and experience.
