AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Two policemen were wounded while defusing one of two bombs found in outlets of the IKEA department store chain in the Netherlands, police said Wednesday.

All 10 stores in the Netherlands belonging to the Swedish-based chain were closed while police searched for a third bomb they suspect may remain hidden.

Police also closed off a section of the A-12 highway in Utrecht near the IKEA store in that city east of Amsterdam.

The bombs were found in Amsterdam and Sliedrecht, a town near the port city of Rotterdam, police said.

The Sliedrecht device exploded at a police station, where it had been taken to be defused, injuring two policemen, a statement said.

There was no immediate information on the type of explosive device or how they were discovered, or about who was responsible.
