We are an Armenian-Mongolian couple with a 2 year-old son looking for similar families to socialize with.

If you are a multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-lingual family with (or without) child(ren) in/near Amsterdam seeking for people whom you can relate/talk to, and perhaps make friends with them and spend some free time together, then please send us message on this forum's messenger.

The above mentioned characteristics by no means are selection criteria , we just wanna get to know some people (preferrably families with kid(s)) from former Soviet block, which is former USSR, Mongolia, and Eastern Europe.

Dear Anna, I might have missed it, but is there a separate thread where people with children can list their location and children’s age to meet each other? (Besides the “looking for babysitters”)
If not, maybe this one could be it?
We are an American-Russian family with 20-month-old daughter and will be moving to Holland this coming spring. Not sure on the exact location, but more likely it will be somewhere around Amsterdam, our father is IT professional, so his job will be the deciding factor. Sorry we cannot get together any sooner, but we would love to start making friends and keep in touch.

Жаль что по- русски не можете, тут некоторые печатают через транслит, что такое знать не знаю-))). Но может поможет. Амстердам деревня большая, и окрестности у нее тоже не слабые.Это только по первости кажется, что 20-30 км в радиусе не далеко ( это я по отзывам очевидцев, сами мы в России ишшо-)). Так что вы с location определяйтесь поскорее и будете заводить поближе друзей. Просто ужасные пробки и проблема в передвижениях. К тому же Амстердам дороговаст с точки зрения проживания, на мой взгляд. Но все costs конечно зависят от того, кто их несет. МОжет вам работодатель будет оплачивать. И проблемой квартиры я бы на вашем месте уже сейчас озаботилась ил работодателя озаботила. Тоже не быстрое дело в хорошем районе квартиру найти.

 

В журнале "Elsevier" N2 (янв. номер) есть обзор всех школ Голандии.
