1. AutoCAD/Inventor Draftsman

Mare Libertatis is looking for a technically developed and creative AutoCAD/Inventor Draftsman. Dedication, attention to detail and the eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues are highly appreciated. The ideal draftsman has several years of working experience, but we are also looking for candidates who are soon to graduate with a Secondary vocational education (MBO) or Bachelor degree in any of the following fields:

Mechanical Engineering
Marine Technology
Offshore Technology
Civil Engineering

As a draftsman you are responsible for the independent setup of drawings, from concept to detail. You develop sketches and ideas into 3D models and finish the design with detailed design drawings. Your creative input is appreciated. A good understanding of the English language is required.

2. Naval Architect

Mare Libertatis is looking for an analytical and practical Naval Architect. The ideal candidate has a Master degree in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering and several years of working experience. The following competences are highly appreciated:

Basics in mechanics (materials, calculus, stress design, stability)
Skills in engineering tools (FEM, Marine simulation)
Creative (alternative solutions)
Accurate and eager to learn
Flexible (working under pressure, dealing with new situations and feedback)
Motivated and dedicated
Knowledge of materials, standard solutions, and fabrication process
Good understanding of the English language

As a naval architect you are responsible for the independent design of marine constructions. You elaborate sketches and ideas into calculation models. The job demands a collaborative team effort with engineers from different fields and disciplines working closely together.

3. Project Engineer

Mare Libertatis looking for a technically and organizationally strong Project Engineer. The ideal candidate has a couple of years of working experience, and has a Bachelor or Master degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology, Offshore Technology or Civil Engineering. Other technical fields can be considered. The following competences are required for a project engineer:

Experience in design
Advanced knowledge of mechanics (materials, stress design, stability, joints, actuators, etc.)
Knowledge of engineering tools and aids, materials, standard solutions, and fabrication process
Creative (conceptual solutions)
Accurate (profound in checking and maintenance of engineering quality)
Self-supporting
Flexible (working under pressure, dealing with new situations and feedback)
Overview (project management)
Social skills (coaching of project members, communication with clients)
Supportive (support ideas from others)
Good understanding of the English language

As a project engineer you are at the heart of the company, involved in all parts of the design process. You are responsible for:

Independent design of project specific equipment and systems
Project planning, budget, and scope
Reporting project status to client, engineering manager and other members of the project
Supervision of engineers and draftsmen

4. Engineer

Mare Libertatis is looking for a technically strong and motivated Engineer. Someone who can design, calculate and sketch - in short - a typical engineer. The candidate is soon to graduate, or recent graduate, with a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology, Offshore Technology or Civil Engineering. Equivalent technical field can be considered. Experience is not required, however appreciated. The ideal candidate has the following competences:

Basics in mechanics (materials, calculus, stress design, stability)
Skills in engineering tools (FEM, Excel)
Creative (alternative solutions)
Accurate and eager to learn
Flexible (working under pressure, dealing with new situations and feedback)
Motivated and dedicated
Knowledge of materials, standard solutions, and fabrication process
Good understanding of the English language

As an engineer you are responsible for the independent design of (sub)constructions. You elaborate sketches and ideas into calculation models. In close cooperation with draftsmen, you are the driving force of the company.
