Your role: Software Engineer Big Data – Python/Java

As Software Engineer Big Data you will in essence be responsible for the optimization of the big data platform, responsible for huge amount of data for the vast array of online products by using Big Data in a smart way. You will be responsible of building and maintaining closed loop optimization, map reduce processes, import/export processes and intermediate formats for the big data platform. As these are products with an exposure to millions of people your work is highly visible.

From day to day you will work a multidisciplinary international Scrum team, working closely with the business. As the time to market is generally quite short you will be challenged a lot. Fortunately you have a lot of room to come up with more ideas to use your skills to help the business forward while working with technologies like Python/Django, Java, Hadoop, MongoDB, solr, Perl and SQL. To do big investments you can look forward to a great career.

Your requirements

• Solid experience as software engineer
• Experience with both Python and Java in a professional environment
• Experience with SQL and Linux
• Experience with data models
• Able to communicate with both technical as well as non technical people
• Experience with Django, Hadoop, Jenkins is a plus
• Experience with TDD, solr, MongoDB and Hive is a plus
• Good english

What is offered?

• Between 3500 and 4500 per month, dependent on experience
• Able to work 40, 32 or 36 hours

не очень их как бы много пока, таких людей
вполне реалистичная позиция, мне кажется
